We made the mistake of booking this restaurant on New Year’s Day, thinking that it would be easier than venturing into town to find somewhere open. There were very few customers, just three or four tables, so it looked like they had closed off most of the restaurant. Service was a bit off. We wanted a couple of glasses of red wine but weren’t shown a wine list to choose from. Instead, the servers brought us one bottle to show us. We had to confirm the price. We tasted it but said we’d like a different sort. They again brought us a bottle to show us and taste. I noticed later that customers at one of the other tables were also offered a glass of the same wine. I got the impression that they were reluctant to sell us wine by the glass instead of the bottle. The food was good - I had the potato with goat. Overall it just didn’t feel like a great experience, although the food was good, and the servers were doing their best on a slow day.

Excellent service, delicious starter of fried prawns followed by equally scrumptious steak as the main course. Blueberry cheesecake to finish washed down with a bottle of red wine. Prices were reasonable.

The restaurant is not open at night, but only for lunch until 16:30... with my great disappointment, since The Fork accepts dinner reservations...

Really nice restaurant with a large variety of local food, from tapas, starters, main dishes, meat and fish. The waiter has been really lovely and nice to us, the service was fast and gentle.

The best restaurant we have been to, here in Tenerife. Everything was absolutely fantastic! It doesn't get any better than this! The only thing (which I also pointed out in the restaurant and which was corrected) was that when my husband ordered coffee and brandy, this was served cold. (without a warm glass of water under the cognac scoop).

Looking for an inspired dining experience? Try Origen’s Peruvian-Asian fusion menu. We splurged and ordered the 8 course tasting menu (6 appetizer/ entrees 2 desserts) and we were delighted with the fabulous flavor pairings made by the chef. All of the dishes were wonderful but the cerviche, salmon sushi and the sirloin were particularly memorable. Our waiter took great care of us. One note: The restaurant is tucked away in a building on Calle Darías y Padrón behind another restaurant. We had to search a bit to find it.

115 Dana Liv Tenerife ➡️ Where: Located in the Canary Islands, Spain, it takes 2 hours by boat from Gran Canaria ➡️ Recommended travel time: 3 days ➡️ Spain's highest peak is Mount Ted at an altitude of 3718 meters, but this mountain is not in Spain (Iberian Peninsula), Instead, the Canary Islands in the Atlantic Ocean. If you calculate the height from the seabed, Ted will be 7,500 meters high, making it the world's third largest volcano. Although Ted has been symbolically spewing a few hot gas from above its head for more than a hundred years (the last eruption was in 1909), it has been a bit of a temper for millions of years, and the formation of the entire Canary Islands has been related to Ted's eruption. The island's TF-21 road can take you directly to the Ted Peak cable car station, which ends halfway up the mountain, where there are several hiking routes to choose from. If you arrive around dusk, you can also see the huge triangular reflection of Ted Peak printed on the Atlantic Ocean. There is a geopark under Ted Peak. The landform is like a Martian landscape. The stones are volcanic rocks. The density is low and the quality is light. Even children can easily lift a large piece. It is also an ideal experimental base for humans to enter alien space, where the European Space Agency tested interstellar rover in 2017. From the sea level-level port to Ted Peak, it is through a forest. When I pass through the forest, the clouds cover the sky and visibility are almost zero. The tour guide introduced that this thick fog not only provides abundant water for plant growth, but also plays a sound insulation role. When we drove the car to the thick fog, the world next to our ears was cleaned up, and in addition to the wind, it seemed that we could hear our heartbeat. Dana Liv Island is the hometown of Dragon Blood Tree. This plant grows according to the index law. The branches have two, two and four, and each tree will eventually become a huge umbrella. The average temperature of Dana Liv Island is about 24 degrees throughout the year, which is very suitable for vacation. In 1974, the Spanish government was planning to build a yellow sand beach, so sand was shipped from the Sahara Desert, where Sanmao's husband Jose had worked. You can also see a large creature called a shortfin pilot whale on the west coast of Dana River Island. They eat squid, but they are all hidden deep (in deep sea areas that live between 400 and 800 meters below sea level). When the male whales hunt, they will dive at a speed of 9 meters per second, and they will not kill immediately after catching the squid, but first drag them to the water, and quickly reduce the water pressure can make the squid automatically give up resistance. ➡️ Private house recommendation: There is a century-old restaurant on the island, this is La Hierbita born in 1893, you can order his black-billed fish, you can also order a dessert called Gofio, the top layer of syrup from palm trees, and this syrup can only be picked in the morning. ➡️ 365 days of travel: occasionally encounter strong wind weather during the trip, there is a little panic at the beginning, but once you adapt, you will find that strong wind not only can awaken people's passion, but also can give rise to many unrealistic dreams. #backpack for ten years #tenerife # Spain trip
